Documentation for Dangerous Goods General When dangerous goods are offered for transport a document is required to give carrier information applicable to the dangerous goods. The format of the document is free but it must contain all required information as per the IMDG code. The IMDG code is a legal document under chapter VII part a of SOLAS 1974 as amended.
